The Crooked Door Tavern

The Crooked Door Tavern (CDT) was born from the love that its owners have for their community, as well as their passion for history and preservation. Joe and Debbie Martillotta have taken a traditional neighborhood bar, formerly the “Club 469” , its roots reaching back to the post World War II era, into an updated, fashionable dining establishment. The extensive renovation process spanned fourteen months, with major modifications to all parts of the building and grounds. Today about the only thing that remains “original”, is the front door. It is still in the shape that it was found …leaning a little to the east. Thus the name “Club 469” was put to rest, and the “Crooked Door Tavern” was born.
